Why do I cry?

I don't exactly know how I linked today's song with the previous post when I planned out the posts. Maybe it was because this one says "Even though rain washes this memory away" and the previous post's song (the Mandarin one) said "The role of history vanishes in memories". Or maybe it was the Cantonese song with its "I've decided I would leave you" that linked to the very first line of today's song, which reads "I've already decided to no longer miss you". In any case, I bring you today 为何流泪 (Wèihé liúlèi, Why I cry), a Mandarin song I met sometime after Spring 2012, certainly before 28/7/12 at 11:01, where I was already planning an English and a French version.

1. I first translated to English between 6/8/12 and 20/8/12, between whose diary entries a version shows up as the first of a bunch of translations, bearing the following differences to the version below:
   
   • Ll. 1-2 are switched;
   • «Thus you leave behind» takes the place of «What you leave behind's», a change I may well undo;
   • «my memory» takes the place of «this memory»;
   • «I don’t know when I can stop it / I cannot calm down» is missing;
   • «This» takes the place of «That» in the last line;
   all of these things were "set straight" within 18/8/12 15:27;
2. Up till the 5/8/12 19:26 file, a French version was planned, but then, between 10/8 and 12/8, I decide for a Japanese version and manuscript the below printout version on the printout of the 28/7 file; now, the mega-intro says I did this on 10/8, but the manuscript itself says "skipped on 10/8", so I either misremembered, or simply did it later than a translation further in the printout but still on 10/8; however, the todo list from 12/8 doesn't have this, so on 12/8 it was done; the differences between the final version below are almost all set straight by the 18/8, where the Japanese only has 君がもう有らない in place of 君がもう無いよ, a change which gets made between 18/8/12 21:16 and 3/9/12 13:25;
3. Then, on 15/9/18 late in the evening, saving the blog's posts, I come to this one, and think of translating it to Italian, starting the job; I then finish it around 2 while lying awake in bed;
4. In the meantime, I translate two lines into Sicilian; next day, during the homily, I translate some more into Sicilian, then I continue after Mass, and by lunchtime I'm done, modulo a few minor tweaks (one of which probably concerned the line that was then «Nun hai cchiù a èssiri mia»); as I checked translation note 8 on Sep 28 (or less likely 27) 2021 against the blog, I noticed that we have "saiu", an incorrect form, which should be fixed to "sazzu".
