The things that I see

Talking about wonders, today we leave love for a second, and see a blind man overwhelmed by wonder and a rollercoaster of emotions after being given his eyesight which he had never had, in an English song called The things that I see, which I translated during a bout of insomnia in the night between 30/8/18 and 31/8, except for a couple things I did the following morning, then I made a couple fixes that morning and one in the afternoon, then on 3/9/18 I posted on Quora about an uncertainty I had about a line of the translation, and Mr. Zhang chimed in and I ended up posting the original version below in the comments (with an alternate option «见到的事情 / 让我笑得就像孩子! / 见到的事情 / 让我哭得像男人!» for the first half of the chorus, and with the uncertainty fixed as per the answer, whereas the below version will have «直到泼剌洗走了黑暗» and my other idea at the time was «一溅水就洗走了黑暗») and he gave me a number of corrections which I implemented in the final version which I uploaded to Youtube just the afternoon before I wrote this draft, 4/9/18. Now that we're through with the story time, let's see this song!
