Ma voi lo sapevate che la colonna sonora di Nuovo Cinema Paradiso, scritta da Morricone, è anche una bellissima canzone d'amore, Se tu fossi? Io l'ho scoperto il 7/7/23, e subito subito l'ho tradotta in Greco, e poi sono andato anche in Coreano. Ma sentiamo IAFI:
- I'd known the tune to this song, more or less, for ages from the film Nuovo Cinema Paradiso, but only on 7/7/23 did I find out it had lyrics. Indeed, that day, after looking up the lyrics after hearing the song rehearsed at my cousin's wedding, I teared up, and knew I had to traslate it. I started that same day at 14:31, before the start of the wedding, and over the course of afternoon and evening, in multiple bouts, I completed the Greek translation below, with a tweak the next morning. Sent it to Kika today, 8/7, and waiting for a response. And the answer came in later the same day, at 17:51, with the following comments:
- «Αν μου ήσουν στην καρδούλα για μια μέρα» for the start of section 2 is not advisable, because it sounds off, and the Italian doesn't use diminutives either;
- «Αν μου ήσουν στην ψυχούλα για μια μέρα» is discouraged analogously;
- Between «Απ' αυτήν την στιγμή με σένα» and «Απ' αυτήν την στιγμή μαζί», the better choice is the one with «Με σένα, because it goes to ερωτεύτηκα, and in MG the options are :σε ερωτεύτηκα - ερωτεύτηκα με σένα - ερωτεύτηκα μαζί σου. Μαζί without the pronoun refers to plural : ερωτευτήκαμε μαζί (μεταξύ μας)»; this one actually came the day later at 7:29/30, after I pointed it out; and it shouldn't go there, it should link to στιγμή, hence why I proposed the below version at 14:30, which got accepted at 14:45, all on 9/7.

Era una vita che, più o meno, conoscevo la melodia di questa canzone dal film Nuovo Cinema Paradiso, ma solo il 7/7/23 ho scoperto che aveva un testo. Infatti, quel giorno, dopo aver cercato il testo online dopo aver sentito le prove della canzone per il metrimonio di mio cugino, avevo gli occhi lucidi, quindi ho capito che dovevo tradurla. Ho iniziato lo stesso giorno alle 14:31, prima dell'inizio del matrimonio, e nel corso dei pomeriggio e della sera, a più riprese, ho completato la traduzione Greca sotto, con una modifichetta la mattina seguente. L'ho mandata alla Kika oggi, 8/7, e attendo il responso. E la risposta è arrivata il giorno dopo, alle 17:51, coi seguenti commenti:
- «Αν μου ήσουν στην καρδούλα για μια μέρα» come inizio della seconda sezione non è consigliabile, perché suona strano, e l'Italiano non usa manco lui un diminutivo (καρδούλα ~ cuoricino);
- «Αν μου ήσουν στην ψυχούλα για μια μέρα» è analogamente sconsigliato;
- Tra «Απ' αυτήν την στιγμή με σένα» e «Απ' αυτήν την στιγμή μαζί», la scelta migliore è quella con «Με σένα, perché va con ερωτεύτηκα, e in Greco Moderno le opzioni sono (per "mi sono innamorato di te") :σε ερωτεύτηκα - ερωτεύτηκα με σένα - ερωτεύτηκα μαζί σου. Μαζί senza pronome si riferisce al plurale : ερωτευτήκαμε μαζί (μεταξύ μας) "ci siamo innamorati insieme / tra di noi"»; questa in realtà è arrivata il giorno dopo alle 7:29/30, dopo che ho insistito su questa scelta (che lei originariamente aveva mancato); e non dovrebbe andare con quello, dovrebbe legarsi a στιγμή (istante), per cui ho proposto la versione di sotto alle 14:30, accettata alle 14:45, il tutto il 9/7.

I do verse 1 and the partial verse between 9:14 and 10:06, then some more tidbits and a few tweaks during the day, and then finish the job at 16:56-18:45.
