Despacito

I bet you all know what song we're dealing with today :). Yes, it's that one. The one and only Despacito, which means "Slowly". We have a Chinese and an English translation. The former began, and almost ended, on 19/3/20 1:50-2:58, leaving just "Si te pido un beso ven dámelo" for the following 13:30-13:48, save for "esto es dando y dándolo" at 13:59. The English one began with up to "armando el plan" (well, half of that line) on 20/3/20 at 23:36-23:37, continued in the dead of that night (2:01-2:19) to finish that section and translate the second half of the next section, and then was completed the following day at 13:35-14:40. I really wonder WTH "DY" means… [It stands for "Daddy Yankee", the other performer of the song together with Fonsi.] I may have added some of those bracketed nonsense lyrics to the English as I drafted this. I changed "keep coming closer" to the current form on 21/3/20 19:19 as I put the English in the draft. Added "of" in "that's what you're thinking of" 19:28. Added "to" in next line same time. Added "it" the line below 19:29. "… bāby / Is looking" changed 19:30. "I want to go through this voyage" changed 19:31. "A jigsaw for me" changed 19:35. There's also the alternate Chinese «爱情多少地填满你», still in consideration up to 13:50 19/3/20, but rejected by 19:47 21/3/20. I'm not sure if that untranslated «Favoritos, favoritos, baby» at the end of the English was a mishap or intentional. Leaving it in anyway. At 23:08 on 1/1/23 I changed «We’re sticking together» to «We now stick together» to better fit the tune. Let's see it!
And happy belated third birthday, blog! Can you believe it though? It's been three whole years that I've been posting twice each weak! Wow! And I haven't even finished my translations! Isn't it incredible? :)
