Today we leave Min Nan, but we don't go very far, because we have a Mandarin song called 想念你 | Xiǎngniàn nǐ. We've seen a couple "cheers!" songs, we moved to "my lover is a sailor" which was related only due to a misinterpretation, and we keep nostalgia and pining alive with "Missing you", today's song. The translation is pretty recent: it was thought out in the night between Nov 23 and Nov 24 2017, and laid out in this post's draft in the evening of Nov 24.
On 17/1/23 at 19:13 I start a rhyming remake of the English, which I will put on the right while the original non-rhyming translation will remain on the left. By 19:37 it's done, with a couple tweaks the next day at 15:56-57.
Then there's the Greek. I start it in the morning of 18/1/23, as I shave, within 10:50, with two lines done later at 10:54 and 10:56. Then I pick it up again at 15:50 that day, and chip away at it until 16:07, by which point I've got ll. 1-4, 9-10, 17-19, 21-23. Then, 19:38-19:50 and 23:18-23:30, I finish it minus ll. 17 and 24. Which I do immediately afterwards, completing the whole thing by 23:39. And then I send it to Kika, and she suggests a couple tweaks.
